Today marked a major milestone in turning endegraaf.nl into an automated, highly-polished developer blog and knowledge hub powered by Drupal 11 and Google Antigravity.

From transforming YouTube videos into technical guides to upgrading our custom Gruvbox Cozy theme engine, here is a detailed recap of everything built and published today.

One of today's primary goals was transforming video tutorials into structured, reader-friendly technical articles.

A step-by-step DevOps guide detailing how to fork ublue-os/image-template, generate Cosign cryptographic signing keypairs, automate container builds via GitHub Actions, and rebase physical hardware with sudo bootc switch.

C. MiSTer FPGA 2025 Hardware Guide (Node 10)

An expert breakdown comparing 2025 MiSTer FPGA hardware options—detailing killer use cases for 128MB SDRAM, Direct Video (24-bit Analog Output), SNAC sub-millisecond controller I/O, mt32-pi MIDI synthesis, and JAMMA arcade cabinets.

3. Drupal 11 Engine & Gruvbox Cozy Theme Overhaul

To ensure maximum visual appeal and clean typography, we implemented major updates across the Drupal site architecture:

Major Importer & Theme Improvements:

1. Code Block Protection: Protected syntax code blocks during Markdown parsing to prevent # comment lines in code snippets from erroneously converting into <h1> elements. 2. Markdown Pipe Table Conversion: Built automatic parsing for Markdown pipe tables (| col | col |), rendering them into responsive <div class="table-wrapper"><table class="cozy-table"> HTML tables. 3. Horizontal Rule Parsing: Converted --- dividers to real HTML <hr /> elements with warm Gruvbox border styling. 4. Editable Image Credit Field: Enabled title_field = TRUE on field_image so Drupal Admin renders an editable Titel / Credit input field under featured images. 5. Clean Card Metadata: Removed author names and avatar circles from teaser cards while stripping the - 00:00 post time globally to keep post dates clean (e.g. do, 6 aug 2026). 6. Default Fallback Banner: Generated a custom Gruvbox-themed default cover banner (default-placeholder.jpg) so articles without images maintain a symmetrical 2-column card layout.

4. Full Site Standardization & Live Deployment

Finally, we rescanned all published articles across the entire site to enforce our new standardized article template:

• Top Source & Credits Box: Positioned at the very top of every article body.


• Mandatory TL;DR Section: Included directly below the source box.


• Clean Figure Captions: Added descriptive captions (Figure 1: ...) under all body images.

All updates were verified locally in DDEV before deploying live to endegraaf.nl.
